Objectives


Prepare students for leadership positions within the 'globalized' and 'glocalized' business community. The program is designed to help students develop a broad range of skills, acquire knowledge needed for fulfilling managerial and administrative responsibilities in the contemporary business environment.

Requirements

  • The student must complete a minimum of 48 credits to graduate.
  • Score a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 (B-Average) to graduate Assumption University
  • Complete 12 credits at Christ College and spend 3 Semesters at Assumption University
Master of Arts in Tourism Management (MA - TRM)
Objectives
  • To provide knowledge and understanding of the business of the tourism industry and the management approaches, appropriate and apllicable to the industry for its sustainability
  • The curriculum provides many interesting principles essential for the tourism profession
  • The advanced studies of tourism behavior
  • The management and development of the Human Resources in the industry
  • The knowledge of policy and public administration as well as essential laws and regulations of the tourism and travel industry
  • The understanding of third - world tourism development and appropriate approach for sustainable development
