Twinning educational programs is a unique and
creative concept in education. It provides opportunity
and access to students for studies abroad. The
students complete a part of the course in St Aloysius
College, India and completes the remaining parts
of their studies at the affiliated foreign university,
which in this case is ASSUMPTION UNIVERSITY, Bangkok,
Thailand.
St Aloysius
College was founded in 1951 and is situated in
the Jabalpur Cantonment area. The College is named
after St. Aloysius Gonzaga, the Patron Saint of
the college, who harbored a burning desire to
serve God and his fellowmen. College provides
courses on arts, commerce, science and management
disciplines. St. Aloysius College bestowed two
National Awards among all the Christian Colleges
in the country in 2001.
Assumption University
Assumption University is the first international university in Thailand. The university is a non-profit institution administered by the Brothers of St.Gabriel, a worldwide catholic Religious Order. The university is an international community of scholars engaged in pursuit of truth and knowledge, serving the society, especially through the creative use of interdisciplinary approaches and cyber technology. Assumption University welcomes students from other countries, over 20,000 students from over 60 different countries are currently studying at university.
